¥ Focus mode, whereby the observer moves in relation to an anchor point symbolized by a 3-colored cross (green, red and blue). This mode is selected from the button bar in the 3D view by clicking on the world icon. In focus mode, the following operations can be used to modify the observer's viewpoint:

1. to position the anchor point, double-click the left-mouse button. The anchor point's new position is given by the intersection of the vertical plane 0 and the straight line passing through the current viewpoint, and the position of the mouse's cursor.
2. keep the left mouse button pressed and drag the mouse sideways to the left or right to turn around the anchor.
3. keep the left mouse button pressed, and drag the mouse forwards or backwards to respectively move towards or move away from the anchor point.
4. keep the right mouse button pressed and drag the mouse forwards or backwards to respectively lower or raise the viewpoint.
5. keep the right mouse button pressed and drag the mouse to the right or left to move the anchor point on a circle whose center is defined by the position of the observer.

¥ in in-flight mode, represented by the icon and which is activated on the button bar in 3D view, the observer modifies the orientation of his or her viewpoint following the relative position of the mouse's cursor at the center of the 3D view. The 3D view's center is identified by a 3-colored cross, just like the anchor point. Moreover, the observer can move at a speed that is:

a. increased by keeping the left mouse button pressed,
b. reduced by keeping the right mouse button pressed,
c. canceled by clicking on the left and right mouse buttons at the same time.

¥ in onboard mode, the observer is positioned in one of the vehicles represented in the 3D view display area. When the vehicle exits the network, the navigation system goes back to the previously activated mode.

a. to activate the onboard mode: double-click on the middle mouse button on the appropriate vehicle.
b. to quit the onboard mode: double-click on the middle mouse button on a spot in the display area where there are no vehicles displayed.
