Cube Reports
Develop Presentations and Graphical Analyses Quickly and Easily
Like all of the Cube modules, Cube Reports is directly tied to the concept of scenarios. Choose a report and select one or multiple scenarios and the reports are created dynamically, displaying and comparing key indicators for scenario evaluation. The reports themselves are created using an easy-to-use dialog prompting the user for source data, fields to use in the reports, colors, fonts and other layout criteria. Cube Reports produces:
• Tabular reports
• Cross tabulations
• 2D and 3D pie charts
• 2D and 3D bar charts
• Scatter diagrams
Cube Reports can help you create flexible, high-fidelity reports, tightly integrated with your modeling and simulation system. Key qualities of Cube Reports are:
Directly integrated into Cube and tied directly to the data for all scenarios
Cube Reports is a plug-in to Cube Base. Once installed, reports can be generated via a right click within the Data pane of Cube Base. Once a report is created, the user simply right clicks on the report and selects the scenario or scenarios to be charted.

Create tables using filtering and selection
Create reports on the fly in a few short steps or create templates for use across all scenarios
From the Reports section of the Data window of Cube Base, right click and select ‘Create Report’. Supply a name for the report, select the source data and supply a logo banner for the report. Select the type of table/chart to create. In Cube Reports you can create pie, bar and scatter charts in 2D and 3D along with tables in several formats and cross tabulations. Lastly, select the fonts and coloring to use in the chart. The report is saved and the user would then simply select a scenario and double click created report to generate the final chart.
Extremely easy to use by modeling and non-modeling staff
Many times non-modeling staff wish to compare and analyze model results and take data from the models to create presentations for stakeholders. A strength of Cube Reports is that it was conceived for both model experts and non-modelers to use. Model input and output data in Cube is provided in simple DBF format easily edited within Cube. Link this data to Cube Reports and use the dialogs to create high-fidelity graphics and tables in a few short clicks. By creating a series of standard reports and templates, the analyst can create a very easy to use model reporting and analysis system for management.
