Citilabs announces plans for International User Conference
Futura 08 to be held in Palm Springs November 3-5
Oakland, California - Citilabs is pleased to announce Futura 08, the 3rd annual Citilabs International User Conference. The conference will be held in Palm Springs, California (USA) at the Palm Springs Hilton. The meeting will be held from Monday November 3 through Wednesday, November 5, and will also include classes and other pre-conference and post-conference events, stretching from November 1st through November 7th. The heart of the conference will be presentations from Cube software users from Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Americas.
“The past 2 Futura’s have been remarkable events, providing both our users and staff a chance to meet each other and work together,” recalls Michael Clarke, President and CEO of Citilabs. “While we are separated by many miles and sometimes oceans, the comparability of our modeling and software efforts provides a great opportunity for all of us to learn from each other. I really enjoy seeing our people sharing ideas and growing professionally.”
“Just as in the past 2 years, Citilabs will offer a series of 1-day and 2-day technical classes for model users and developers”, stated Ken Vaughn, Citilabs Director of Software Support. “We anticipate a slightly larger conference this year, in part driven by our customers need for more technical education. By offering both pre-conference and post-conference software classes, we help our users stretch their travel budgets, by attending one single meeting with user papers, a software laboratory, and technical training.”
